You’ll hear or have heard already that content is king. That has never been more so, then for writing all your web-copy. Its number the one thing that brings visitors to your website, or blog or newsletter. Visitors are seeking clear and compelling information. Writing good web copy will not only determine whether visitors find your site through search engines, but also will have a profound effect on how much time they give your page.

Keyword research and analysis are vital and integral components of the process. This is the one element of your process that is going to help you get the kind of search engine placement we all desire. You won’t win all the time but if you can win some of the time it will pay big dividends.
When a copy writer is at the top of his or her game, they are taking what has been learned over the ages and applied all that knowledge from tried and true direct response writing techniques, plus search engine optimization “SEO” and keyword research and keyword density, and they have put it all together in a way that keeps the search engines happy to rank well, and keeps the prospect happy with strong compelling content.
Your use of language must be deliberate and concise and it must crush as many objections as it can and still sound like a great piece of copy. Copywriters know which words are weak and which are strong, and which words should be absolutely avoided at all costs. Your use of keywords has to sound natural and you have to avoid stacking of keyword phrases, all the while keeping it going with a smooth transition from benefit to benefit and maintain your stories integrity.
Effective writing has personality. Infusing your copy with your personality is very important, and it is going to be your way of connecting directly with your prospects. Infusing enthusiasm and a story together to bring about the ultimate end result and goal. When there’s match between your writing voice and the customers’ interests and needs, then, and only then, will your prospect feel that you are speaking directly to them, and that they’re looking at you as that person that is going to fill their needs.
