Video marketing is fast becoming one of the top methods for driving a ton of traffic to your sites. Over the past year I have noticed more sites popping up dedicated to video entries.  Video marketing for the most part is free for those who already have a decent camera. Google an other search engines give a great deal of credibility and attention to sites that have video as a medium.  The traffic you’ll receive is highly targeted and its is a great way to create a personality online for yourself and your business.

I have not yet taken that dive in the pool of video marketing, however it is high on my list of priorities for the near future. I can also understand why some people are intimidated by video marketing, because they are not sure exactly how to do it. It isn’t really all that hard. I believe it is more about getting comfortable with the idea than anything else.

It should actually be far easier to accomplish than one might think. If you have a business then you should be able to for the most part talk about your subject effortlessly. However, what I would do so you can put your best foot forward, create a little script for yourself. Make sure your backdrop is nice plain and clear. The reason I say this is, have you ever watched one of those videos that have activity going on in the background versus having a plain black or white or neutral colored background? I believe it will help you to maintain the focus of the customer that your looking for.

This will be much like your focus on the written word and your keywords attached to your video is going to still dictate who finds you. Have fun with it as with anything else that has to do with your business and try your best at all times to talk in terms of benefits that the prospect will realize. With the growth of video sites like you tube and some video sites that are directly related to your given niche it should be easy to get the traffic your looking for as well as a much higher degree of search engine relevance.
