Your Online Business And Analysis Paralysis

I don’t know about you, but this is a serious issue for many online marketers, and one that is very difficult to overcome. I personally struggle with this day in and day out. You’d think as long as I have been at this online business game that it would no longer be an issue. But not true.

So what I am talking about exactly. Well it breaks down like this. You have an idea and you have done your research, but you get stuck in the research phase and it keeps you from actually taking action and taking those steps that are actually good for your business. Or you start your day with a full fledged plan and you allow other things to keep you from the important things that need to be done.

When it comes to your online business, it is better to be wrong and actually accomplish an action step then to get caught in analysis paralysis or thinking you need to be perfect. I have made more mistakes and had plenty of my own failures and the one thing that stands clear, I learn more from taking action and being wrong, than I do from over analyzing and reading myself into oblivion.

A perfectionists attitude is very costly in your business, and when you are trying to decide how your day is going to go, what may be a big help, is if you think in terms that your going to what is actually going to create results. Sitting and prioritizing is the best thing you can do for your online business, and that prioritization should be done in a way that is going to move your online business forward.

Do everything you can to keep from getting yourself stuck. Being a perfectionists is only going to keep your business from making the kind of money it should now, versus later. Create your prioritized plan and stick with it. Don’t let one single thing get in the way. Not emails, not special offers, not anything that would stop you from taking an actual action step, something that will deliver results.

By keeping your days very structured, you’ll quickly find that not only will your online business grow at much faster pace, but you’ll also have a ton more time to yourself to spend with your family and friends and doing those things that you enjoy. You should not become a slave to your online business. For you perfectionist out there this may be one of the hardest things that you have to do. It about breaking bad cycles of behavior. But it pays big dividends.
