Your Home Business And Information Overload

Even after being online for almost 5 years and being successful at this game, you would think that I wouldn’t suffer from this debilitating situation, but I do. This is a big problem for many, it can be paralyzing, and it does stop you from success. Folks go from offer to offer and read more emails than they need to, rather than staying on track and accomplishing the action steps that’s needed to push yourself forward.

Your home business will suffer severely if you don’t get a handle on this and do it early on. You have probably signed up for everything under the sun, thinking that it helps to have all this information coming in. But if you dissect the amount of time your spending reading emails and offer and after offer you’ll soon realize it equates to hours and hours of wasted time. In many cases it can be as much as a day or more gone.

So how do you overcome all this? Here are a few tips and yes I do this every so often and it helps a ton. I re-evaluate what information is coming and if I have emails that are offer after offer then they are gone. To me that’s not marketing, and it reeks of desperation from the marketer. If you aren’t comfortable with that unsubscribe click, then the next best thing you can do is have a seperate email that collects junk.

You really aren’t missing anything. You have to decide in your mind that there is no next best thing. Take it from someone who owns a little over 15000.00 worth of IM products. More often than not you will be wasting precious time and money on new information that you already have. Usually its simply a different spin on info you already have.

Once you have your product you are going to follow, stick to it and don’t get derailed. Keep taking those action steps that are laid out for you already and follow it through to it end. With each passing day you’ll see yourself accomplishing more and getting ever closer to the big goal. I know this isn’t easy, but so important to your home business and actually making money.

Prioritizing your task goes along way towards success, and it will alleviate that feeling of not accomplishing all you needed to do. Maintain your focus. Always remember where you are trying to go, and what your end goal is. I want you to succeed and hopping from one thing to another is just going to set you back. Eventually causing frustration and failure.

The flip side to this, is that you may truly have a product that isn’t get’n it and isn’t delivering all the pieces. If that is the case and you still have time, get your money back.
