Let me take a few minutes and give you an overview of who you are working with and a little background. My name is Scott Searles, I have been doing business online successfully for close to 7 years now, as a matter of fact March 2010 will be 7 years. I have managed to create a monthly income that has allowed me the satisfaction of enjoying life in a way I had never thought possible. I am talking about absolute freedom to do what I want, when I want. All while working from the confines of my own home office.
Probably the single most satisfying part of this entire journey has been the opportunity to show 17 family members and close friends how to do exactly the same. It’s kind of funny really, how these disbelievers and nay-sayers in the beginning are now making money online. Most full time incomes and some part time incomes.
The best advice I ever received – “Build a business around something you love doing or something your passionate about”. To put it simply, find a way to take a hobby you love, and create a business around it. This may not work for everyone. BUT DON’T DESPAIR! It doesn’t mean you can’t be a success online. Here’s the thing, what I was actually being told is to not start out in the internet marketing arena, creating and selling internet marketing products. I was advised that it was far too hyper competitive and would be much harder to succeed in a timely fashion, I was advised I would be stacking the deck against myself. And I followed that advice and so did my group and it has served us very well. But, the choice is yours.
I know what you are saying to yourself right now, isn’t this a IM site or blog and my answer is of course. However I had been online for almost 5 years and very successful in my other niches prior to putting this blog together and the biggest reason it exists at all, is because of those other niches. I get quite a few emails on a weekly basis asking how I got started and if it were possible for those inquiring, if they to, could start a business online and of course my answer was a resounding yes! But I had already built a number of sites in other niches prior to this.
Starting out, the biggest hurdle is knowing where to turn to get the right home study courses that will actually deliver on there lofty promises. That is the purpose of this blog. It will save you a ton of time and wasted money and the products that I have listed, have been used over and over again and created successes within my group, as well as those who have followed my lead. So I don’t see any reason they won’t work for you.
A little something you may want to know is, that I am a home study course purchasing junkie, and own somewhere in the ball park of 300 ish different Home Study Courses and software programs. So I kinda know a little about what works and which ones deliver. People always ask why I buy so many. First is I can, I got the cash to do it. Second is I am always looking for one little nugget in a program that is going to give me an edge to further my online pursuits. It isn’t for everyone.
