They say the best way to making money on the Internet, is to create your own product or ebook. Wow! That’s a simple statement, but do you know what is involved. It isn’t as difficult as one might think, and it really is more about choosing the right niche and sub niche that has a hungry ready to buy market and finding out what that market is looking for.
Brainstorming: If you know what you want to create, your already on your way. But, if you’re not sure what information you have stored in your years of living – well, it can be difficult. I’ve found the best way to brainstorm is to write your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of paper – then do research to determine what people are looking for on the net.
Research: To determine if your product, idea, or info-knowledge will fly you must do research. Go to Wordtracker or Overture and see how many times people in the month were looking for what you want to write about. This will give you an idea if it is a viable product. Also do a straight search in Google and Yahoo for your keywords, and see what turns up. Investigate some of the sites, you may be surprised that you have a completely slant on the information you want to present in an E-book – which is a good thing. Read the rest of this entry

There are so many different niches in the overall market that any web site on any topic can find a niche and fill it. When you specialize, you are more likely to succeed.
The most powerful tactic in the history of warfare is the classic divide and conquer routine. You can make an obscene amount of money if you can take over one niche market and then another and another. Focusing on smaller groups of people and dominating their needs in a particular area is the best way to effectively spend your resources.
When you attempt to evaluate your market keep in mind that there are people in your market that you wouldn’t normally associate with it. There are a small number of people who live in the suburbs who would like to wear cowboy boots. If you can target your products at groups such as these you are more likely to sell to them than someone who would target the cowboy boots to… well.. cowboys. Read the rest of this entry
